Is A Text Message More Romantic Than A Phone Call?

Modern dating seems to be characterised less by face-to-face encounters and bunches of flowers than by buzzing smartphones and the screen-swiping of dating apps.

And whilst this shift has drawn a barrage of criticism in recent years, with psychologists branding text and email messaging 'lazy' and 'unromantic', a new study suggests that typing may top talking when it comes to best expressing loving sentiment.
